Character Info
Name: ‘Culture Clash’ Kyle Beckett (Kyle William Beckett)
Age: 18
Height: 1.85m (6ft 1)
Weight: 91kg (201lbs)
Hometown: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
Alignment (Heel/Tweener/Face): Tweener, leaning into face
Likeliness to break the rules or cheat: Sometimes. More akin to Eddie Guerrero, using tricks to embarrass or fool the opponents and have fun with it/them.
If the match calls for weapons he’ll try and incorporate them into his moveset.
Bio: For as long as he can remember Kyle Beckett grew up forever trapped in his older brother’s shadow, always compared to him and invariably falling short. At least as far as his own father was concerned. This manifested in a youth spent in rebellion and troublemaking as a desperate bid to stand out. Kyle’s older brother, Colin, doted on his younger sibling and recognised the big trouble brewing in the increasing acts of defiance so offered an outlet for Kyle by introducing him to the world of martial arts and pro wrestling. Kyle adored and looked up to Colin and although he enjoyed the moments they shared, sparring and training, deep down he also knew this was his brother’s thing and never really bought into it wholesale. But nevertheless there was a tenuous peace between the Beckett family. Until the tragic car accident that claimed the life of Cole Beckett...
Appearance
Face Claim: Ben Tyler
Entrance: Black sleeveless jacket with hood. On the back is a picture of a dark blue Southern Cross.
Ring: Black tights with ‘Culture Clash’ emblazoned in dark blue on each leg. Black boots with dark blue outline.
Other: Has an eyebrow piercing in his left eyebrow and lashes of dark blue colour throughout his hair.
Entrance Music: Stick to your Guns by the Sick Puppies
Ring Entrance Notes: The music hits and Kyle stands at the top of the entrance ramp, bent slightly forward and arms crossed. He drops the hood of his jacket and throws his arms out wide, letting out an excited roar to the crowd. He looks around to take in the arena before striding down the ramp. He ascends on to the ring apron, looking out to the arena again with a sly grin on his face and climbs to the top of the turnbuckle where he cries out “Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!” before leaping down to the ring and preparing himself for the match.
-How the audience responds to the Aussie chant is left to the discretion of the writer.
